Mormor is here...
Hello,
Jonathan and I are very excited at the moment - on Friday daddy brought Mormor home from work!! Not sure what she was doing at daddy's work.... mummy says Mormor came from France and is going to stay with us for two weeks... that may give me time to show Mormor all my new skills (we haven't seen each other since January) and all my toys...
Jonathan loves having another person to cuddle him and being allowed to go out in town with mummy and mormor - he is becoming a real cafe-fan! He also feels he is now a big boy who can sit up so mummy and daddy have bought him a new chair to sit in...being a consciencious brother I made sure I tried it out first - very comfortable and stable. Jonathan tried it out on Saurday and loved being able to sit up and get a different view of the world.
On saturady I also had swimming again. Daddy is getting quite good at swimming lessons now - of course, he has not been going as long as me as last term I went on a Thursday with mummy whilst daddy was at work. After swimming we went to a bazaar where mummy and mormor went shopping whilst the men in the family chillied out with a cold drink in the bar by the river. Jonathan was asleep so I entertained daddy and uncle Rob who was aso there. We then went for lunch with Uncle Rob, Aunty Tash and Mackenzie and Georgia. It was yummy and I had my second ever icecream. Its good stuff!!
Today I was at school so mummy, mormor and Jonathan went to the market whilst I was busy and then picked me up from school. It was fun to show mormor my school. Whilst they were at the market mummy bought 'supplies' for my birthday party on saturday but she won't tell me what. Apparently its a secret.... Just in case you had forgotten I will be 2 on 21 November (and Jonathan is 4 months on the same day) but we are having my party the weekend before so mormor can be here. I will tell you about it in my next blog.

It's Time to Play
On Monday our friends Maria and Elliot and Hector came to play. Elliot is 1 month older than me and Hector a few weeks younger than Jonathan. They are also half-swedish like us!!! I don't think Jonathan and Hector understand the point of a play-date... they just sat there with the mummys. Elliot and I on the other hand had great fun playing with my cars, riding round on my tricycle/bee and playing in the fort. We had great fun and I hope Elliot will come over to play again soon.
On Tuesday we had almost got to school when the motion of the car was too much for my tummy and I was sick everywhere so we had to turn around and go home. Mummy then had a busy morning washing me, my school bag, Jonathan's change bag, mummy's and my clothes and finally herself. We then had a quiet day at home reading stories and playing with mummy and Jonathan. As my tummy was rather empty I wanted to eat LOTS of food straight away but mummy would only give me a little at a time - the advantage was I got so many meals we ran out of names for them... pre-morning tea snack, morning tea, post-morning tea snack, fika, pre-lunch snack.... I must say it was great having so many meals in one day. For those of you who don't speak swedish, Fika is a drink and something to munch that can happen at any time of day - for grown-ups it often involves coffee. Isn't it good that my blog is educational!! I must ask cousin Jasper next time I see him on Skype if they have fika in Denmark... its such a good idea...
On Wednesday I went to school whilst mummy met some friends for coffee and then Jonathan took her to a mummys and babies group. Jonathan enjoys chatting to the other babies (especially the girls). Apparently they all chill out on a big mat together whist the mummys sit around and chat. On Friday I was at school again. I like school lots!!
Yesterday daddy and I had a swiming lesson. It was drizzling but that didn't matter - after all, the whole point about swimming is that you get wet! Mummy and Jonathan came to meet us at the end of the lesson and then we all went to my school which was having a party as it is 1 year old. It was fun to show daddy my school (Mummy and Jonathan have been before) but as it was raining we couldn't go outside so I couldn't show him my favourite car. I had my face painted for the first time in my life - a dinosaur on my cheek, played some games and had some party food (I do like fruit skewers!!). We then met Georgia and Mackenzie and their parents for lunch before heading home for nap time. Mummy and daddy haven't had time to download the photos from yesterday yet, but I've posted some from earlier in the week and will post yesterdays later.

Its exercise time...
Hey there,
We are all busy here in HCMC. On days when I don't go to Noah's Club, Ninh and I usually go down to the play area in our apartment complex so I can play on the slides and stuff. Jonathan is also busy at this time, as he tends to do a gym session with mummy. His latest trick is to kick the soft ladybird book as it makes a really cool sound. I have attached a video clip of Jonathan at the gym. I tried to give him some lego to play with today but he wasn't interested. Mummy says he's too small. Maybe tomorrow he will be big enough.
The other day I put snorkfroken (Moomins girl friend) in the bath. Mummy and daddy say cuddly toys don't like having baths, but I figured that I really enjoy my bath so maybe my toys would too... She wasn't in there very long before daddy fished her out, but she didn't look too unhappy to me. Mummy dried her off and by this morning she was good as new and this morning the whole moomin family have enjoyed a ride in the tailer of my bike and playing lego with me, tiger and mummy.

Jonathan is growing up
I think I must have the cleverest little brother out there - this week he has started grasping onto his toys and kicking at them in his play gym. He has also worked out how to rotate through 180 degrees whilst in his gym. I think he's practising so he can play with Lego with me and mummy soon. I love my lego and play with it every day - often several times!! Generally I build cars and then mummy and I drive them to each other. Its great fun so I can understand Jonathan wanting to join in. He has also grown out of his baby bath now, so we have a conveyor belt system at bathtime - first daddy and Jonathan and then Jonathan goes to mummy for dressing and I hop in. Hopefully Jonathan and I will be able to bath together soon, but mummy and daddy say Jonathan has to learn to sit by himself first.
Yesterday (thursday) Jonathan was 3 months old, and I was 23 months. This meant we had to take Jonathan for a check-up and jabs... I am teaching Jonathan to be as brave as me (we have to be, because mummy is a bit of a woos when it comes to us having jabs... I haven't worked out how it can hurt her that someone is sticking a needle in me, but it obviously does!) and he did me proud!! I can also report that he now weighs 6kg and is 64cm long. He is still growing a centimetre per week!!! If he carries on like this for much longer, I'll be wearing his hand-me-downs soon! Better eat a bit more to try to keep ahead (After all, I am the BIG brother!).
