Hi,

Mummy and Daddy have told me that I've been getting a bit slack lately in writing my blogs so I thought I'd better listen to them and update you all on recent events...

Firstly, in April we moved from Hanoi to Ho Chi Minh City as Daddy had some big projects down there that he needed to work on. Apparently this means that we will stay over here for another year, which is all good as I do enjoy the hot weather - means I get to go for lots of swims!

Mummy is doing well, although just between you and me, she has been getting a bit bigger lately. Daddy informs me that this is because Mummy has another baby in her tummy. I'm not sure how this works although apparently I came from the same place. My baby brother is due to arrive on 28 July, which I am very much looking forward to. I told Mummy that I very much enjoyed being born in Auckland so they've taken my advice and will be returning to NZ shortly - Mummy and myself in mid June with Daddy following a few weeks later...

Back in HCMC, we've moved into a new apartment, which is great. It has all the key characteristics for me - a pool to swim in and a long corridor and lots of space in which I can zip around on my bee and my tricycle. I've started going to "Bright Sparks", which is a fancy name for a toddler playgroup that I go to. I've also started going to swimming lessons. It seems that some children don't really like the water but I love it - even when Daddy "dunks" me. I just need to remember to close my mouth although I do like drinking pool water - much to Mummy's dislike!

Last weekend, Mummy and Daddy took me up the Mekong to Can Tho. It was very exciting as my friends, Georgia and Mackenzie along with Uncle Rob and Auntie Tash came down from Hanoi to spend the weekend with us as well. We had a lot of fun cruising the Mekong and seeing the floating markets and other life alongside the river.

I can feed myself now - well kind of...

And Mummy said that I couldn't fit my whole hand in my mouth...
